Adventures in Construction Management - Stream Restoration

Mike will share some highlights of construction management and observation for stream restoration projects. Including within this presentation will be highlights of issues in water control/diversion, erosion control, and other construction management issues as well as some design and construction tips to improve typical urban stream restoration projects.

Mike has 30 years of experience working in the Stream and Watershed Services programs at Urban Drainage including managing a variety of stream improvement projects throughout the Denver Metropolitan/Front Range region. Currently he serves as the Watershed Services construction manager assisting local governments and private developers achieve maintenance eligibility certification. His education includes a bachelor’s degree in Land Use and Ecological Resources and he is a Master’s degree candidate (Fall 2017) in Ecological Restoration.
