It is not unusual for a stormwater permit to have numeric benchmarks beyond turbidity and pH. This typically results from legacy site contamination or having an impaired receiving water body. As these benchmarks may be atypical from project to project, so to must be their treatment solutions. We’ll discuss initial project treatment design decisions and how those designs must evolve to respond to changing conditions on the ground.
