Little Cypress Creek Regional Stormwater Quality Program (LCCSWQP)

LCCSWQP is a voluntary program administered by HCFCD that provides developers with alternatives for the establishment of stormwater quality enhancements that satisfy county requirements. This presentation covers the various scenarios and agreements by which developers can collaborate with HCFCD to establish stormwater quality infrastructure within the Little Cypress Creek Watershed.

Roberto Vega is the Stormwater Quality Design project manager for the Harris County Flood Control District (HCFCD) Environmental Quality Section (Planning Division). Mr. Vega provides oversight and management for 11 watersheds within Harris County, and is responsible for incorporating water quality enhancements into HCFCD facilities whenever possible. Mr. Vega is currently spearheading five cutting edge projects, Little Cypress Creek stormwater quality program, Langham Creek stormwater quality program, Bioswale Demonstration project, Floating Treatment Wetlands, and FODS track out construction analysis. He has a decade of water quality design experience in Texas, and has been with the District for three years.
