Technology and Stormwater: The Delta between Cool and Useful

Ty Garmon

Open discussion regarding the different technologies we use on a day-to-day basis and how we are able to get ‘buy-in” from our teams to actually use tech to accomplish goals. The technologies that win in our lives today, especially in our work lives and even more importantly if that “work life” happens to be out in the elements, is the technologies that provide us with greatest upside with the least amount of friction. Meaning the easier it is to use and the faster I can learn how to use it the better the end result and the faster I can show that it was worth the investment. We will discuss electronic stormwater inspections and how we can shorten that gap between “Wow that’s cool, to hey this thing really works.”
