Sonny has been in the industry over 10 years and is currently the Division Stormwater Manager in Dallas/Fort Worth for D.R. Horton, the largest homebuilder in America for the last 15 years. He has performed inspections on oil and gas properties, commercial construction projects, and residential construction projects. He holds a BS in Environmental Management and is working on his MS in Environmental Management. He holds a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control In Training, a Certified Erosion, Sediment, and Stormwater Inspector, and a Certified Environmental Stormwater Compliance Professional. He is the chair of the IECA Erosion/Sediment Control Education Track Committee, a member and past chair of the IECA Editorial Committee for the Environmental Connection Magazine, and a member of the IECA Awards Committee.
