Industrial SWPPP Development

Aleisha Knochenhauer & Elda Espinoza

Effective Stormwater management is critical to reducing erosion and preventing pollutants from contaminating surface waters. It’s also an important tool to help organizations maintain and show compliance, allowing them to continue their industrial activities. A well thought out and structured storm water plan is not only critical, but it is the foundation to a successful program. An organization’s storm water plan has a direct correlation to their program’s effectiveness. In 2002 Martin Marietta revamped their storm water management program and was recognized in 2003 by the San Antonio Water System for that program.
