EPA Audits of MS4’s: How The Process Has Evolved

EPA provides various technical assistance programs such as the Building Blocks program which provides communities an opportunity to target priority areas and program priority areas including building green infrastructure into stormwater management plans; revitalizing public housing reconstruction for livable communities and surrounding areas; and; supporting environmental justice neighborhoods develop water management plans w/local officials to incorporate street level improvements to improve walkability and safety. These are just a few examples of how EPA has partnered w/Local officials in providing a plan for designing and developing a plan.

Suzanna earned a BS in Chemistry and an MS in Environmental Management from Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. For the past twenty years, Suzanna has worked as an environmental scientist in a variety of Clean Water Act programs at the state and federal level. Currently, Suzanna serves as a stormwater program technical expert in the Region 6 Water Division NPDES Permitting Section, the regional Green Infrastructure coordinator and the Office of Community Revitalization technical assistance programs coordinator.
