From streams and wetlands to home building and roadways, EC08 has training courses and technical sessions presented by field-seasoned professionals familiar with your issues and concerns.

Customize your education

EC09 offers a variety of formats to help you customize your education and meet your training goals. Mix and match to get the full conference experience while you earn Continuing Education Units (CEUs) and Professional Development Hours (PDHs) for your professional certification*.

Full-day training courses

These courses are the perfect way to improve your skills in erosion control or stormwater management while receiving the PDHs or CEUs you need to earn or maintain your professional certification.

There are full and half-day training courses offered Wednesday and Thursday in addition to the usual Monday and Tuesday schedule.

Technical Sessions

New at EC09: Offered Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, these shorter, topic-focused sessions will help you expand your knowledge in specific areas of erosion and sediment control and stormwater management. With over 50 sessions to choose from, dabble in the unfamiliar or explore new ways to conquer your current problems. These sessions consist of five different formats:

  • technical papers
  • case studies
  • training workshops
  • forums
  • poster presentations
