IECA is looking for advanced courses that tell our participants WHY things in the industry need to be done, rather than focusing so much on HOW things are done.

Important Dates and Information

Submittal and Notification Deadlines

Below are the deadlines for the EC12 One Hour Presentations and Full and Half-Day Courses. Please mark these dates down in your calendars. Failure to meet deadline dates may result in course/presentation cancellation.

Step 1: Abstracts
June 17, 2011	Abstracts of 400 words including learning objectives and speaker information due to IECA.
July 15, 2011	Notification of approval, conditional approval, or decline of abstract to those submitting.
Step 2: Paper
August 15, 2011	Completed paper, bio, marketing paragraph and photograph uploaded. This year, we are asking for additional materials, earlier than normal, in order to publish program information in our October issue of Environmental Connection Magazine.
September 9, 2011	Notification of paper approval, revisions needed or decline.
September 23, 2011	Revisions to conditionally approved papers due.
Step 3: Presentation
December 2, 2011	Final changes/revisions/updates to paper/presentation. All visual presentation materials, ie. Powerpoint must be submitted for review. For full and half day presenters, manual content due.
February 26-29, 2012	EC12 Courses/Presentations in Las Vegas, Nevada
Failure to meet deadline dates may result in course/presentation cancellation.
