Conference Planning Committee
Purpose
The Conference Planning Committee gives input on site selection, keynote speakers, scheduling and programming of the annual conference that is consistent with IECA's Long Range Plan objectives.
Goals
- Look at weekly conference schedule
- Select keynote speaker
- Involve local chapter in Annual event
- Support all stakeholders (exhibitors, attendees and organization) with the annual event
- Review conference survey
Membership
The committee will consist of the following:
- Conference Director
- Executive Director
- Exhibit Manager
- Board of Director representative
- Host Chapter Representative
- Future Chapter Representative
- Past Chapter Representative
Terms
Committee term limit will be 3 years. Candidates may re-run when their term is finished.
Meetings
The Conference Planning Committee will meet on a quarterly basis for about an hour at a time. Sometimes a pre-site visit at the committee person's expense may be required
The Conference Director will produce a conference planning committee report prior to every formal board meeting and will send to all committee members for their input.
