Member Bio:

Rebecca Kauten has worked in stormwater management and water quality monitoring since 2004; following three years of graduate research on establishing and sustaining municipal stormwater management programs. She serves as secretary of the Great Rivers Chapter of IECA. She holds certificates in SWPPP design and construction site inspection and installation from the University of Minnesota Erosion and Stormwater Management Program. Currently Rebecca works on water quality monitoring projects through a partnership between the Iowa Department of Natural Resources and the University of Northern Iowa. In this capacity she serves as a statewide resource to stormwater management professionals and fellow researchers. She holds a Masters of Public Policy Degree, with a research emphasis on land use policy and watershed management.
