2013 Contest Winners

We would like to thank everyone who submitted photos this year. We had over 90 entries. Our preliminary voting occurred on Facebook. Fans were invited to help narrow down the entries by liking or commenting on their favorite photos. Twenty-Three photos were chosen as finalists. These photos were on display at Environmental Connection 2013 in San Diego, CA, USA. We had over 500 votes. Congratulations to the winners.

Impacts of Erosion & Sediment Control

Judging Criteria

  • Degree of environmental impact - what is the effect on water or air quality?
  • Degree of social impact - what is the effect on property, human life, infrastructure, etc.?
Unmitigated hydeomidification: Some natural systems are more prone to impacts than others, and this one had multiple impacts.
