	The Chapter launch took place in Kuala Lumpur's distinguished landmark, the Petronas Twin Towers.
	Approximately 80 guests registered for the ceremonies that included civil engineers, product manufacturers and suppliers, consultants, government officials and students.

	Dr. Justino R. Arboleda, is leading the way for the creation of a Philippine Chapter of IECA. Dr Arboleda is pointing to successful erosion control on the golf course using coconut fiber netting.
