The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) is a non-profit, member organization that provides education, resource information and business opportunities for professionals in the erosion and sediment control industry.

New Region One Board Members Announced

IECA is pleased to announce the results of the 2016 Board of Directors election. Congratulations to our newest board members Don Thieman, CPESC and Wesley Zech, Ph.D. who will be joining the Region One Board of Directors for the 2017-2020 term. Returning to serve a third term is Charles R. Riling, Jr., TRETCNO, ABI, CESSWI This year, voter participation nearly doubled in comparison to last year! Thank you to all of the candidates, to everyone who expressed an interest in running, and to those who voted, for contributing to the future of our organization! We'd also like to send a special thank you to those directors leaving the board for their years of service: Rafael Araujo, PE; Beth Chesson, CPESC, CPSWQ; Philip Handley, REM, CPESC, CESSWI; and Brock Peters, CISEC, IECA's current President will become the board's Past President.

Call for Abstracts - TRIECA Conference

Toronto and Region Conservation (TRCA) and the Canadian Chapter of the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) are pleased to invite industry professionals to submit abstracts for presentation at TRIECA 2017. The Conference will be held on March 22 & 23, 2017 at Pearson Convention Center in Brampton, Ontario. The TRIECA 2017 Conference Committee is seeking abstracts from industry professionals who can contribute their knowledge, share expertise and provide innovative thinking relating to the two workshop tracks: Stormwater Management; and Erosion and Sediment Control (including Stream Restoration and Natural Channel Design).[More Information]
