Wednesday, November 17th - Thursday, November 18th 2021

Registration will open August, 2021.

The primary goal of this event is to provide industry participants exposure to innovative research being performed on commonly employed erosion and sediment control practices in both horizontal and vertical construction with hands-on field demonstrations. The field day will be held at the Auburn University-Erosion and Sediment Control Testing Facility (AU-ESCTF) and provide attendees with hands-on opportunities to: (1) learn proper installation techniques on various erosion and sediment controls to achieve improved performance, and (2) observe full-scale, simulated stormwater induced testing demonstrations of rainfall, sheet-flow, and channelized flow apparatuses.

By sharing knowledge gained through research, industry participants will be better prepared to achieve environmental compliance. In addition, participants will gain knowledge on implementation tools and installation techniques to provide efficient and effective erosion and sediment controls on construction sites.
