Construction Stormwater: Developing a Comprehensive Program Across All Project Phases

Daniel L. Schertz, CPESC

In this Fireside Chat our diverse panel of environmental and engineering professionals will exchange ideas and experiences on developing a comprehensive construction stormwater management program with consistent stakeholder involvement across all phases of the project lifecycle. The presentation is intended to be an interactive discussion led by the panel but with input from attendees based on their own experiences related to stormwater management across each project phase.

Learning Objectives:

  • By participating in this discussion, the attendee will gain an understanding of the components of a project life cycle from pre-construction survey through engineer design and construction and how stormwater plays a part in each.
  • By participating in this discussion, the attendee will learn how to help bridge interdepartmental coordination gaps, which is often necessary when a project requires multidisciplinary coordination.
  • As a result of attending the presentation, the attendee will learn the importance of consistent stakeholder involvement across the project life cycle.
