By registering and attending the Auburn University Installer Training, each person acknowledges and agrees to the following restrictions as the criteria of being accepted to attend.
Registration
Your pre-paid registration guarantees you a spot in the event as well as information on any changes to the event. Registration on the day of the event will be accepted on a space available basis, but enrollment will close when the capacity of the seminar is reached. Participants are reminded that registration is not complete until payment is received.
Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers
Requests for registration refunds or transfers must be submitted to IECA in writing. For cancellations prior to 30 days from the event a $10 processing fee will be applied. For cancellations 30 days and less from the event date there will be no refund. Transfer of registrations are encouraged and subject to a $10 processing fee.
Photography, Audio and Video Recording
IECA and Auburn University will use photography throughout the Auburn University Installer Training for use by both IECA and Auburn University in the marketing of future events as well as for publishing in Environmental Connection magazine for informational and educational purposes. It is possible that by attending the Auburn University Installer Training, your image and/or voice might be captured during the normal course of attending educational sessions and related events.
By registering for this event, you consent to your registration data being shared with the exhibitors/sponsors of the Auburn University Installer Training, unless you are opted-out of 3rd party information sharing in your IECA account profile. Information shared includes, but not limited to name and contact information.
Anti-Trust and Restraint of Trade Policy
The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) is comprised of competitors, or potential competitors, that share common interests and seek solutions to common problems. IECA conferences, meetings, chapter functions and listservs provide these competitors with opportunities to discuss a variety of business practices and conditions within their industries and professions. IECA strictly prohibits any discussions or actions among its directors, employees and/or representatives that may have the effect of improperly restraining trade and competition in the marketplace in violation of applicable laws. Accordingly, it is IECA’s policy to prohibit the following: 1) Any discussions, understandings, or arrangements (either expressed or implied) about setting or fixing prices that will be charged for goods or services. Improper price discussions include agreements and understandings not only on the prices themselves, but also on price related issues, such as discounts, credit terms, surcharges, mark-ups, etc. 2) Any discussions, understandings, or arrangements (either expressed or implied) designed to injure a competitor or squeeze it from the market. This includes collective action to refuse to deal with a company or boycott its goods or services. 3) Any discussions, understandings, or arrangements (either expressed or implied) regarding the division or segregation of markets. Agreements and understandings to refrain from competing or advertising in certain markets can narrow the choices available to the consumer and unlawfully stifle competition. 4) Any discussions, understandings, or arrangements (either expressed or implied) that unreasonably restrain trade, stifle competition, involve unfair methods of competition or otherwise violate applicable laws.
Solicitation
Suitcasing is strictly prohibited at Auburn University Installer Training. We reserve the right to remove any individual from the event that are reported to be soliciting at the event and are not an event sponsor or exhibitor. We encourage attendees to support the paid sponsors and exhibitors who, in turn, are supporting the industry.
Views Expressed
The views expressed by any Auburn University Installer Training attendee, speaker, exhibitor or sponsor are not necessarily those of Auburn University Installer Training, IECA or its representatives. All event attendees, speakers, exhibitors and sponsors are solely responsible for the content of any and all individual or corporation presentations, marketing collateral, advertising and online Web content.
Cancellation of Event and/or Education
Auburn University Installer Training organizers may at any time, with or without giving notice, in their absolute discretion and without giving any reason, cancel or postpone the conference, change its venue or any of the other published particulars, or withdraw any invitation to attend. In any case, neither the organizers nor any of their officers, employees, agents, members or representatives shall be liable for any loss, liability, damage or expense suffered or incurred by any person.
Although every reasonable effort is made to provide the speakers, topics, and sessions listed, some changes or substitutions may occur. Speakers and sessions are subject to cancellation or change up to and including the day the session(s) are scheduled to be held. Changes or cancellations are made at the discretion of IECA and may be done without notifying attendees. If sessions are changed or canceled no refunds should be expected. Agreement to attend the Auburn University Installer Training acknowledges acceptance of this provision.
Accommodation of Participants with Disabilities
It is the policy of Auburn University to provide accessibility to its programs and reasonable accommodation for persons defined as having disabilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990. Please contact us at least two weeks prior to the event so that proper consideration can be given to any special needs.
Code of Conduct
IECA is committed to providing an atmosphere in which personal respect and intellectual growth are valued and the free expression and exchange of ideas are encouraged. Consistent with this commitment, it is the policy of IECA that all participants in IECA activities enjoy a welcoming environment free from unlawful discrimination, harassment and retaliation. We strive to be a community that welcomes and supports people of all backgrounds and identities. This includes, but is not limited to, members of any race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, color, immigration status, social and economic class, educational level, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, size, family status, political belief, religion, and mental and physical ability.
Event participants violating these guidelines are expected to comply immediately and may be sanctioned or expelled from the conference without a refund or liability at the discretion of the Event Organizers.

Admittance and Removal
In Auburn University's sole discretion, without refund, we reserve the right to refuse admittance to or expel from the event anyone that we determine is behaving in a manner that could be disruptive to the event or any other attendee or not following the attendee code of conduct.
Liability Waiver & Release
In consideration of your registration and attendance of Auburn University Installer Training, you waive any and all claims that you or any future agent or heirs has or may have in the future against IECA, Auburn University Installer Training, their agents, employees, servants and officials and release them from all risks, liability and covenant not to sue them for any expense, loss, damage, personal injury, including loss of life, disability, property damage, or property theft, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and litigation expenses, or actions of any kind that you may suffer or sustain, before, during or after Auburn University Installer Training, unless such was caused by the gross negligence of IECA.
