Benchmark Sampling & Non-Compliance
Juliana Morelli, CPESC, CESSWI, REM, PG
Now that you have your Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP), what do you do with it? The outcome of a good SWPPP should be stormwater discharges that meet the water quality limits established by the TPDES MSGP. At the end of your BMPs, are you meeting these limits? How do you manage the analytical data? What do you do when you find non-compliance? Investigation into the source of pollution by the Pollution Prevention Team is required. Sometimes, notification of the regulatory agencies is also required. Annual reporting requirements must be addressed. Join us to review the evaluation of stormwater quality data and reporting elements established by the TPDES MSGP.
